Ne uma Nimi Pesim, Mixu achi ochi. My name is Drew Gonsalves and I’m the founder of Lumii Creative Studios.
When I was five years old, the mailman was dropping off a package and I asked him to wait so I could draw him a picture. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved to create.
I studied at Red River College for three years and graduated from the Advanced Graphic Design program. There, I learned about balance, typography, brand development, illustration, web design, animation, photography, composition, colour theory – everything I would need as a foundation to go down any avenue, to explore even more.
After graduating I worked full time at a design agency and had the privilege of working with clients like Adidas, Scotiabank, while also taking on freelance work with incredible local companies like The Fit Girl Gang, Josie Vilay, & Onalee Ames Film Studio.
Since then I’ve had the honour of running Lumii full-time. My passion lies in listening to your dreams, understanding your why & connecting visual concepts that resonate, to bring your vision to light.

Derived from the french word Lumière meaning (“light”). Lumière is then condensed & followed by a second “i”, which represents the collaboration between my client and myself. Whether it be through creating a custom art piece, capturing a moment in time with photography or building a website for your budding business. Lumii is a space to dream, explore & know that anything is possible.
