Ne uma Nimi Pesim, Mixu achi ochi. My name is Drew Gonsalves and I’m the founder of Lumii Creative Studios.

When I was five years old, the mailman was dropping off a package and I asked him to wait so I could draw him a picture. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved to create.

I studied in the Advanced Graphic Design program at Red River College, where I built a strong foundation in typography, brand development, illustration, web design, animation, photography, composition, and colour theory. That experience shaped the way I approach design, not just as something visual, but something deeply intentional.

To me, graphic design is about more than how something looks. It’s about how it feels. It’s about your audience, your story, and how people experience your brand. I take the time to understand your vision and your goals so I can create something that truly reflects you, allowing you to focus on what you do best, running your business with confidence. My role is to bring your vision to life in a way that feels aligned, thoughtful, and impactful.

Photography holds a different kind of meaning. It’s about preserving moments you can never recreate. From special occasions and family sessions to surprise proposals or two people simply in love, I feel honoured to be trusted with those memories. I guide my sessions with gentle prompts because I believe the experience matters just as much as the final images. Creating a space where you feel comfortable, present, and yourself allows for real, candid moments that tell your story honestly.

With artwork, my intention is always connection. From researching each medium to creating the final piece, I pour care into every step. Working with acrylic, pencil crayon, resin, and minimalist line art, each piece is created with meaning behind it. Whether it’s a gift for someone special or something to live in your home, I feel truly grateful to add a personal touch and create something that will be cherished.
